Jharkhand Finance Minister Calls on Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, July 7, 2026/ Jharkhand Finance Minister Shri Radhakrishna Kishore on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand are not only neighbouring states geographically but also share deep-rooted social, cultural and familial ties. He said the Jashpur region, in particular, has enjoyed a longstanding bond with Jharkhand, fostering mutual trust and close relations between the people of the two states over the years. The meeting also discussed the development of border areas, effective implementation of public welfare schemes and the exchange of best practices and governance experiences. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that stronger cooperation between the two states would open up new avenues for development and ensure greater benefits for people living in the border regions.
